My eSIM is not working , what can I do?

⚠️ Don’t delete your eSIM. It can only be downloaded once and cannot be reinstalled. Whatever the problem, deleting it won’t fix it.

First, check your settings

Make sure the Orange Travel line is the only one active on your phone.

Most phones configure data automatically, but sometimes manual setup is needed.

If you’re using an iPhone

  1. Go to Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data)
  2. In the SIMs section, select your Orange Travel number
  3. Turn ON both Data Roaming and Mobile Data
  4. Turn OFF Limit IP Address Tracking
  5. Go to Network Selection:
    • Deselect Automatic and give it a few minutes to load the network list
    • Manually choose the first network in the list
  6. Give your phone 1–2 minutes to connect, then check if data is working
  7. If it doesn’t work, try the second, third and fourth networks, giving each a minute or two

💡 Please don’t rush, allow each network some time to establish a connection.

If you’re using an Android

  1. Enable mobile data and roaming
    • Settings → Connections → Mobile networks
    • Turn Mobile Data ON
    • Turn Data Roaming ON
  2. Open your SIM settings
    • Settings → Connections → SIM Manager (Samsung) or Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs (Pixel)
    • Select your Orange Travel eSIM
  3. Select a network manually
    • Tap Mobile network → Network operators
    • Turn off Select automatically and wait for the list to load
    • Manually select the first network shown, then try the next ones if needed

Still not working? Check these

Is your plan still active? Open the Orange Travel app → My eSIMs. If your data is used up or your validity has ended, your connection stops. You can top-up at any time.

Is your eSIM registered? Registration is required within your first 30 days. If it isn’t completed, your line is automatically suspended — which looks exactly like an eSIM that stopped working. See how to register your eSIM.

Is your phone carrier-unlocked? A phone locked to your home operator won’t accept an Orange Travel eSIM.
