How can I top up an eSIM?

Running low on data? You can top up at any time from the Orange Travel app or website, no need to buy a new eSIM.

But top-ups work differently from buying a new plan. Please read this before you purchase.

Your data adds up, your days don’t

A top-up is applied immediately and starts a new validity period. The days left on your current plan are replaced, not added.

Example: you have 400 GB and 11 days left, and you buy a 31-day top-up. Your data is added to your balance, but your validity becomes 31 days — not 42. The 11 remaining days are lost.

So top up on the last day of your current plan, or once your data is used up.

Good to know

Top-ups can’t be scheduled for a later date, and once applied they can’t be reversed — we’re unable to restore your previous validity or add back unused days. Always check how many days you have left before buying.

How to top up

In the app : go to My eSIMs, select your eSIM and choose a top-up.

On our website : go to travel.orange.com/top-up and enter your phone number without the leading zero, or your 13-digit eSIM number. Both are in your confirmation email.

Topping up an expired eSIM

You can still top up an eSIM whose plan has ended, as long as it’s registered and your last plan ended less than 6 months ago. See my eSIM has expired.
