First, make sure to check different elements:
- Your device is compatible with eSIM
- Your device is carrier unlocked
- You have a stable connection, preferably Wi-Fi
Please note that you can only download your eSIM once. Please do not uninstall or delete it, as customer service will not be able to provide you with a new QR code.
Step 1: Get your QR code
After your purchase, you’ll receive your QR code via the confirmation email.
Step 2: Install your eSIM a few hours before your trip
- Use your camera to scan the QR code you received via email
- A screen showing your available eSIM will appear
- Click "Set Up" to continue
Step 3: Label your eSIM(optional)
Label your new eSIM.
This is optional, but it can make it easier to distinguish your travel eSIM from your personal SIM later.
Step 4: Activate your eSIM when you arrive at your destination
Once you arrive at your destination, follow these simple steps to activate your eSIM:
- Go to Settings and tap on Cellular
- In the SIMs section, choose your new Orange Travel eSIM
- Turn On this Line and enable Data Roaming
- Make sure that your Cellular Data option is taking your new Orange Travel eSIM
- To avoid any extra charge in your principal eSIM, define your Orange Travel eSIM as your Default Voice Line too
That’s it! You’re now ready to enjoy seamless connection with Orange Travel.
