Before you buy an Orange Travel eSIM, two things need to be true: your phone must support eSIM, and it must be carrier-unlocked.
The quickest way to check: dial *#06#
Open your phone's keypad and dial *#06#. If an EID number appears in the list, your phone supports eSIM. If you only see an IMEI and no EID, your phone doesn't support it.
This works on any phone, including models that aren't listed below.

Your phone must also be unlocked
Even if your phone supports eSIM, it won't work if it's locked to a carrier. If you bought your phone on a contract, contact your operator to have it unlocked before you travel.
How many eSIMs can my phone hold?
Most eSIM phones can store several eSIM profiles, often eight or more but only one or two can be active at a time.
On recent iPhones, you can use two eSIMs at once, or one eSIM alongside your physical SIM. That's what lets you keep your usual number for calls and texts while using your Orange Travel eSIM for data.
Storing an eSIM doesn't use your plan or start its validity. You can install your Orange Travel eSIM before your trip and activate it when you arrive.
