⚠️ Don’t delete it. An eSIM can only be downloaded once, if you remove it from your phone, it can’t be reinstalled.
Register your eSIM if you haven’t yet
If you want to keep using your line beyond your first 30 days, registration is required by French law. Without it, your line is automatically suspended and keeping the eSIM installed won’t help.
Registration takes 5 minutes and verification up to 10 days, so don’t leave it until the last moment.
Turn it off, don’t remove it
In your phone settings, switch your Orange Travel line off and set your usual SIM back as your line for mobile data. Your eSIM stays installed, ready for your next trip.
Travelling again soon?
You can top up your eSIM and reuse it, as long as your plan hasn’t expired and your line is registered. A top-up restarts your validity period, so there’s no need to buy a new eSIM or install anything again.
If your plan has already expired
An expired eSIM can’t be reactivated. You’ll need to buy a new one for your next trip.
Switching to a new phone?
Your eSIM can’t be transferred. If you’re changing phones, buy a new eSIM for your next trip and install it directly on the new device.
